황토로 이뤄진 낮은 언덕이 멀리서 보면 빛에 반짝이는 구리를 닮아 붙여진 을지로의 옛 이름, ‘구리개’.
단어의 어감과 의미만 보아도 마음이 편해지고, 잠시 멈춰 생각에 잠길 수 있을것 같습니다.
이제는 그 색감과 모습을 상상만으로밖에 그릴 수 없지만, 우리는 이런 상상을 오뷔르의 공간에 현실화 시켰습니다.
우리는 혼돈의 장소에서 잠시 시선을 전환하여 오롯이 내적으로 향하는 진정한 쉼의 순간을 제공하고자 합니다.
지상 11층 건물을 받치고 있는 곡선구조는 안정감과 동선을 유도하는
축으로서 중심에 위치합니다.
내부에 시선이 외부로 향하지 않도록 천정을 감싸늘어뜨리고, 지면은 밖과 연결지어 공간은 확장됩니다.
The old name of Eulji-ro, "Guri-gae", where the low hill made of loess resembles copper shining in the sun from a distance.Just by looking at the wording and meaning of the word, We think we can feel comfortable, and we can pause for a moment and immerse myself in thought. Now we can only imagine that color and appearance, but we have made this imagination a reality in Oubur's space.We want to switch our gaze from a place of chaos for a moment to provide a real moment of rest that is directed only inward. The curved structure supporting the 11-story building on the ground is located at the center as an axis that induces a sense of stability and movement. The ceiling is wrapped and stretched so that the gaze inside does not face the outside, and the ground is connected to the outside to expand the space.
